Jan is a Junior Associate at LEXR and part of our Tech, Contracts and IP team. He supports the team in advising technology companies and startups on a wide range of legal matters, particularly in the areas of contract law and intellectual property. In the future, he will also contribute to the work of our Fintech team on regulatory and technology-related legal issues.
During his studies, Jan gained in-house experience at a tech scale-up operating in the SaaS space, where he worked on contract and IP matters. His academic work also focused on technology-related legal questions. In his Master’s thesis, he examined data portability rights under Swiss and EU law from a comparative perspective.
Alongside his legal studies, Jan was actively involved in the legal tech community through the SLTA Student Chapter Zurich, where he helped organize various events and engaged with topics related to legal innovation and technology.
