Traineeship for Bar Exam Candidates

Zurich / St. Gallen, Full time, 12-15 months

The LEXR Junior Associate Programme – one that prepares you for the future and the exciting changes ahead in the legal profession!

What you will get
  • After completion: Certificate for the law firm internship period needed to apply for the Zurich / St. Gallen bar.

What you will be doing
  • Advisor to the companies of the future: You’ll become a trusted advisor to decision-makers and provide growing and established companies with the expertise to achieve their vision.
  • Become an expert in future fields: You will develop your expertise in core fields that prepare you for the bar, but also in fields such as technology, blockchain & DeFi.
  • Business (wo)man: Working with entrepreneurs and in a fast-growing company you’ll develop business skills that you can apply in engagements and future business endeavours.
  • Leader: You will build up your leadership skills by leading own engagements and acting as an associate buddy for future programme intakes.

 

What is required
  • Fluency in English & French or German: You’ll need fluency in French or German for most of our Swiss matters, plus English for global matters.
  • Growth mindset: We’re looking for legal minds that see opportunities despite being trained to focus on risks.
  • Attention to detail: Providing actionable legal advice goes much farther than reciting the law. At LEXR, we dig deeper and work harder to provide the best solutions to our customers, which requires diligence and attention to the minutiae of every case.
  • Team spirit: You will be working side by side with customers and team members alike. You are humble, positive, open, and enjoy getting to know what makes people tick.
  • IT affinity: We are 99% digital and constantly test out new tools to improve our work environment and customer experience. Proficiency in MS Office is a must; any additional IT skills are a plus.
