About Francisco

Francisco is a key member of our Tech, Contracts & IP team, specializing in data protection compliance with a focus on the AI sector. He serves as external counsel and DPO for various SaaS and AI startups, helping them navigate the complex world of data privacy. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in European Union Law, Francisco brings academic rigor to his practice, backed by experience working for the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He’s also active in legal research on data protection and consumer law, and frequently lectures on these cutting-edge topics.
