Sebastian Schneider

Sebastian joined LEXR in 2023 as Head of Privacy and Digital Regulation. He advises on the comprehensive implementation of national and international data protection regulations as well as on the implementation of future regulations in the digital field. He is particularly interested in international data transfers and new technologies such as AI.

Before joining LEXR, Sebastian worked for various consultancies specialising in data protection, where he supported both start-ups and large corporations. He was also a legal advisor specialised in European law at the Austrian Ministry for European and International Affairs and the European Commission. He thus combines comprehensive background knowledge of European regulatory procedures with practical and pragmatic implementation in companies.

Sebastian studied business law at WU Vienna and CUFE Beijing and obtained a doctoral degree specialised in European Law from WU Vienna in 2019. In his free time, he explores new countries and is always looking for sun, be it on the mountain or by the sea.
